The film "13 Hours" comes out Jan. 15, and new trailers were released on Wednesday. The movie follows the story of Americans overrun at the U.S. Consulate in Libya on Sep. 11, 2012. Both new trailers are below.
The first contains all the profanity you'd expect in a movie about American fighters being overrun.
The second is essentially the same trailer, but it doesn't contain as much profanity and gory images.
Deadline Hollywood notes that the film will likely not get into the political standoff over the attack or the aftermath of the fighting. "Like the book upon which its based, it probably won't get into the conspiracy theories surrounding the attacks," Ross A. Lincoln writes. "Going instead for an on-the-ground view of the attacks through the eyes of serious badasses."
The CIA officers, contractors, and Navy SEALs who fought at Benghazi will be represented by James Badge Dale, John Krasinksi, Max Martini, and Toby Stephens, among others.
